To manually issue a badge to a recipient, you first select the 'Issue' option from within the 'Badges' menu item sub-menu. This presents you with a collection of published badges that are available to be awarded to badge recipients.
Hovering your mouse above any of the badges listed, displays the option to 'Issue badge'.
Clicking through, takes you to the area where you can manually issue badges. Manually issuing describes the fact that you must manually enter the name and email address of the badge recipient. Any number of recipients can be entered at one time. As the recipients are added, a list builds up of recipients to be issued the badge. The list cannot contain duplicates. An email address can only appear once on the list.
A recipient can be removed from the listing at any time.
When all recipients have been added to the list, they can be issued the badge.
