Openbadges.me allows you to define and manage groups. A group can be considered a collection of openbadges.me users, backpack owners and badge recipients.
Groups are linked to organisations. An organisation could have any number of groups associated to them.
Selecting "Add group" will create a group under the organisational level you are at.
The advantage of creating and maintaining groups within the organisational structure is it allows you to organise your badge recipients for badge issuing and reporting purposes.
A user or badge recipient can be a member of any number of groups.
Add organisation
The organisational structure is expanded by adding groups into the structure. There is no limit to the number of groups that can be added onto the hierarchy.
Remove group
At any point, an group can be removed from the hierarchy.
Edit group
The name and the description of an organisation can be amended and updated.
Users
Some of the openbadges.me subscription plans provide some user management functionality. Users can be created and assigned to groups. This allow badges to be issued to users via their group membership and supports more focused badge issuing reporting.
